Out the door

Boat is done

Got the sail made.  I cut up a 50 year old moth sail.  Mast, boom and spirit made and painted.  Also made oars.

Got the bottom sanded and one coat of urethane on.  Also got the access ports cut in.

Mostly done

Got the seats glued in and a coat of resin on.   Also built a rudder.  At this point the boat weighs 52 pounds.

Fairing and glass

I got the boat sanded and any voids filled in with rockhard.  The sanding etc took two days and the glass about 3 hours.

Boat is done

Boat's done and sold.  Turned out nice.



 This is a plug for when the boat is being towed behind.  Keeps the water from pumping up and out the cb case.  Also use it when rowing.

I got the cb case slot cut out and the skeg glued on.  I'll put some glass on the skeg after the goop dries.

Rudder stock

Got the rudder fitted to the boat.  Also got the oarlocks fitted.  Cut the holes for the two seat lockers. Only thing left is to flip the boat over and attach the skeg and cut the slot for the DB.  Lots of varnish after that.
