Varnish/inside

Got several coats of arnish on the bottom.  Flipped it over and got the first coat on the inside.  Hardware and sail rig next.  Still have to make the CB and rudder.

Got the inner rails glued in. 

Well, I sold that boat. This is a new one

I started this boat August 12.  Got the entire boat stripped up in 5 days.  That's a record.  This boat is a Nick Schade "Coot"   an 8 foot pram.   I've done some modifications in that I wanted a sailing dinghy.  I took my que from CLC's Eastport Pram.  I put a cb case and a mast partner. 

Sanding and varnish

Finally got back to the Coot.  I spent about 4 hours with the sander.  Went thru 30 disks.  But the results were worth it. 

Outside, finally!

It's finally starting to act like spring.  I got Coot outside for some more resin on the bottom.  lots of sanding and varnish coming up.

Fit and finish

Seats are in and one coat of resin on the entire inside.  Looks good.  Also put the oarlocks on.  They will come off for final varnishing.
